It's true... all the sleepless nights pre-baby are preparation for the sleepless nights post baby. Why else would I bother to get out of bed at 3:30am on a Saturday night to eat some cold noodle casserole?
Today, we spent a harrowing FOUR HOURS at Ikea getting everything we could possibly need to create a safe space for little Esteban. Two hours were spent picking & choosing & making lists while the third hour was spent collecting all the particle board an allen key could dream of. It was in the third hour that all fell apart... The change table we wanted was sold out, we didn't record numbers that we should have recorded and poor Steven had to carry everything on his own. The fourth hour was spent waiting in line to pay, waiting in line for $.50 hot dogs (YUM!) and waiting to pick up MORE items...
It was almost worth the wait to find out that we weren't charged for the most expensive thing on our list though.

30 Weeks and Stretching!
Well, we're at 30 weeks!! (Technically 29 weeks and 6 days) The shirt still fits but the jeans are getting a wee bit snug...
30 weeks is certainly taking it's toll. I went home early a few times this past week because the round ligament pain is getting too much to bear. It's hard to hustle on a sales floor when all you can do is hobble. Steven is getting a lot of practise at helping the helpless put their pants on. Every now and then, when it's just too much to bend, he needs to come and shoehorn me into mine :P
It's hard to believe that there's just 10 weeks left to go!! Let's see if the shirt lasts...
